Familiarization Period



PRIMARY SCHOOL VISIT. This day is time to explore more of the school.
Even I am a secondary teacher, I accompanied my cooperating teacher
in teaching primary students in the subject Mathematics.

PICTURE OF FUTURE MATHEMATICIANS. I am with my cooperating teacher and my
co-exchange student Indonesia. We assist my CT to teach this little children of Satit VRU.

SECONDARY TEACHER. We went back to the Satit VRU Secondary school for me to observe
this secondary class. I learned that in teaching Mathematics, there's so much technique
that can be used to enhance also their creative thinking skills like in this picture, my CT
gave a task to make a TREE DIAGRAM.

Planning and Preparation

LESSON PLANNING. I tried to make a lesson plan and I follow the Thai format. I found it a little bit hard because I can't find their Thai Curriculum written in English characters. But some of the parts are similar with Philippine Lesson plan format. REVISION OF LESSON PLAN . When I consulted my mentor about lesson planning. She told me that my lesson plan is OKAY but she instructed me to put something to make it student-centered lesson plan. She also suggested that I will follow the Philippine Format instead. DEMONSTRATION PREPARATION. these are my materials that I am going to use on the day of my demonstration period. I prepared students materials for the motivational parts and also the hand-outs of the students.

Teaching Week

THIRD WEEK . During the third week of our stay in the school that we are assigned to, I taught the class of Teacher Ratree, Secondary 4/3, and this picture shows that they are answering the quiz items that I gave after the lesson that I taught to them. Overall impression to them is they are naturally good but they lack on new knowledge. NEXT CLASS OF THE DAY. This is my next class that I taught during my first day of teaching. They are participating but the fact that there is a language barrier, they can only speak and communicate with me a little harder. But I made a way for them to understand me. I put Thai Language subtitle as a back-up.

New Morning, New Experiences

Welcome. Today is really exciting because of the new environment, new people to meet with and new classroom set up to see. Every morning, all the teachers will place themselves near the gate to welcome the students personally. They greet each other with a so-called "Wai", a thai way of greeting. #WELCOME Scouts in front of the school. One thing that I observed also is that the scouts will go outside to manage the vehicles are going in out the school. #EarlyResponsibility Flag Ceremony and Morning Routine. The students assembled each morning to attend the flag ceremony and morning routine that includes their Prayer to Buddha, Pledge of Loyalty to the School and For the Royalties. Class Observation . Today is the second day of observation.
